CALLING ALL FLASH TUTORS!!!

Posted by 8-Bit-MasterMario May. 20, 2008 @ 5:35 PM EDT

I'm totally screwing up with backgrounds. I need some tutorial that shows you how to put video game backgrounds onto a Flash without that annoying white rectangle around the sprite character. PLEASE HELP ME! I'll do excellent flash presentations with it; I PROMISE! I have good sprites and backgrounds. Help me put it on Flash properly.

Select the sheet. Then go to modify > bitmap > trace bitmap.

Make the settings look like this:

Corner Threshold: 1
Minimum Area: 1 pixles
Curve fit: Pixles
Corner Threshold: Many corners

Select the background color and then drag it off to release it.

Which sheet? Character or Background?

The sheet you want to remove the white from.
